THE ONE FUND for 2013 BOSTON MARATHON

The outpouring of support for those affected by the events at the 2013 Boston Marathon showcases the strength and community-spirit of runners across the country. If you are interested in a direct monetary contribution to help the people most affected, please consider this link.

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino have announced the formation of The One Fund Boston, Inc. to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013.

Runners Plus is joining with our friends from Up and Running for a "Runners for Boston" 2.62 mile walk/run at Fairmont High School this Monday, April 22 @ 6:30pm.

LOCATION: Fairmont High School (3301 Shroyer Road, Kettering, OH 45429)

TIME: Monday, April 22 @ 6:30 pm

Wear your past Boston Marathon event gear or the traditional blue and yellow color scheme of this event. There will be "Runners for Boston" t-shirts available for sale with ALL proceeds going towards "THE ONE FUND" to help those affected by the attack.

My First 5K

"My First 5K Program" is a Runners Plus training program designed specifically to help beginning walkers and joggers discover the benefits and enjoyment of walking/running. We organize a convenient and helpful training plan along with useful clinics, great gear, and entry into your First 5K.
